The funeral for Marian Weigel, Napoleon, ND will be Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND. Burial will be at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, rural Kintyre, ND.

Marian Aberle, daughter of Joseph and Clara (Schumacher) Aberle was born August 12, 1913 in Logan County. She grew up and attended school at Weigel Township #3 rural Kintyre. Marian married Baltzer A. Weigel February 13, 1934 at St. Boniface Catholic Church rural Kintyre, ND. Marian enjoyed cooking, playing cards, raising chickens and gardening. She was a caring mother and loved her children and grandchildren. Marian was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at Napoleon, ND. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Marian died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the Napoleon Care Center, Napoleon, ND. She was 98 years old.

Marian is survived by her children, Sam (Carol) Weigel, Linton, ND; Aloysius (Christine) Weigel, Napoleon, ND; Regina (Bob) Litt, Bismarck, ND; Leo (Rosemary) Weigel, San Ramon, CA; Sebastian Weigel, Cottage Grove, MN; Andrew (Lynn) Weigel, Santa Maria, CA; Thomas Weigel, Los Angeles, CA; Barbara (John) Silbernagel, Napoleon, ND; Lawrence (Mary Beth) Weigel, Grover, MO; Helen (Steve) Howie, Hugo, MN; Michael (Tina) Weigel, Napoleon, ND; Paul (Terri) Weigel, Mandan, ND; Kathleen (David) Aas, Minot, ND and Mary (Doug) Davison, Bismarck, ND; 38 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tom Aberle, Napoleon, ND and Tony (Frances) Aberle, Napoleon, ND; one sister, Regina Weber, Hillsboro, OR. Marian was preceded in death by her husband Baltzer, son Joseph, one grandson Brandon, her parents, one sister and three brothers.
